According to the information, the incident occurred on November 9. A 57-year-old man, while intoxicated, grabbed a stranger woman by the waist in an underground passage and committed indecent acts against her. In particular, according to the victim, a man approached her on the way, trying to take off her pants.

In court, the suspect did not admit his guilt and stated that law enforcement officers had illegally accused him, as he hadn’t done anything like that. The Yunusobod District Criminal Court found the man guilty under Article 41-1, Part 1 (Sexual harassment) and sentenced him to 5 days of administrative arrest.

Earlier, it was reported that a citizen in Tashkent was detained for harassment for three days. In court, the man admitted his guilt, repented, and assured that such a thing would not happen again.
