In Surkhandarya, a fire broke out under a shed with goods on the street

On December 8, a shed with goods inside caught fire in the Syrdarya region, the press service of the regional Department of Emergency Situations reports.

At 21:21, the 112 emergency service received a report of a fire in the Yangi turmush neighborhood of Angara district. Under the canopy on Markaz Street, mixed goods caught fire. Five fire and rescue crews arrived at the scene at 21:26. The fire was localized within four minutes – at 9:30 PM and completely extinguished by 10:00 PM.

The swift actions of the rescuers saved the main part of the property and prevented the fire from spreading to neighboring buildings. The causes of the fire and the extent of the damage are being determined. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties.

As a reminder, an unfinished multi-story building caught fire in Andijan. It took rescuers nearly an hour to extinguish the fire, resulting in no casualties.
