In Russia, a bus carrying workers from Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Turkey was involved in a horrific accident

After the collision, the vehicle slid off the road and overturned, injuring dozens of citizens.

On October 16, a bus carrying workers collided with a car in Russia’s Amur region and overturned, TASS reports.

The accident occurred at the entrance to the city of Svobodny. A Toyota Probox car collided with a bus carrying workers from the Turkish contracting company Yamata, which is involved in the construction of the Amur Gas Chemical Complex. After the collision, the bus went off the road and overturned.

Of the 49 injured, one person died, 14 are in hospitals, and one is in intensive care in serious condition. Among the passengers were citizens of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Turkey. A criminal case has been initiated under Article 238-1 (Performance of work or provision of services that do not meet safety requirements).

Recall that a young worker from Uzbekistan died at a construction site in Russia. The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in St. Petersburg sent a note to the representative office of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
