In Navoi region, a 5-month-old baby died after his father put a sock in his mouth for crying, Zamon reports.
The incident occurred on January 10 around 00:00 in the Khatyrchi district. Because of the child’s crying, the father put a sock in his mouth. As a result, the baby developed respiratory failure and turned blue. After this, the mother urgently took the child to the hospital.
The patient was delivered in a state of clinical death. The heart and breathing were absent, we performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation, after which the heart function was restored. For four days, the child was treated in the children’s intensive care unit according to standards, and the necessary specialists examined him. Despite this, a biological death was recorded on January 14 around 22:00, — the doctor said.
According to the mahalla representatives, this was the man’s second family (two sons). In the first family, he also systematically exerted pressure on his children (daughter and son). The neighborhood “seven” had repeatedly conducted preventive conversations with him, and he was under control.
According to the Regional Department of Internal Affairs, a criminal case has been initiated against the suspect under Article 104 of the Criminal Code (Intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm). He has been arrested. Initial investigative actions are currently underway.
