A citizen of Uzbekistan was sentenced to life imprisonment for raping a minor in Kazakhstan, Otyrar reports.
The incident took place in the Keles district of the Turkistan region. The defendant arrived in Kazakhstan in mid-2024 to undertake construction work. In the Keles district, he exploited the vulnerable state of a girl born in 2011 from a neighbouring house and raped her multiple times.
In court, the man did not admit his guilt. The prosecutor demanded a life sentence for him, which was entirely granted by the court. He was found guilty under Article 120, Part 4 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Repeated Rape).
Recall that in Russia, an Uzbek citizen kidnapped and raped a minor girl. The man was sentenced to 16 years in prison and was ordered to pay 300,000 rubles in compensation.
