In Jizzakh region, newlyweds were found dead on the fourth day after the wedding

Presumably, the steam could have been poisoned by carbon monoxide.

In Jizzakh region, a newlywed couple died four days after their wedding due to poisoning from an unknown substance, according to the Zamon TV program.

According to the information, the incident occurred on October 25 in one of the private houses in Sugumboy village, Gallyaaral district. A 21-year-old man and his 19-year-old wife died as a result of poisoning with an unknown substance. The head of the family said that the young people got married four days before the tragedy.

The chief engineer of the district gas supply department, who arrived at the scene, said that the chimney, ventilation duct, and exhaust gas outlet after the gas burned in the house were completely blocked with bricks. Presumably, the owners did not check the furnace before the start of the heating season, which could have led to the release of carbon monoxide from the long continuous combustion.

It is noted that specialists have created a special commission to investigate all the circumstances of the incident and have appointed an appropriate examination.

Earlier, it was reported that in the Tashkent region, a whole family died from carbon monoxide poisoning. The suspected cause of death could be frequent gas outages in the settlement.
