A family business that illegally used electricity was found in the Jizzakh region, the press service of Uzenergoinspeksiya reports.

According to the information, the incident occurred in the Gallyaaral district. The specialists discovered that the enterprise had arbitrarily connected to the power grid.

The damage amounted to 2 billion 217 million soums. Currently, law enforcement agencies are conducting a pre-trial investigation.

Earlier, it was reported that the Minister of Energy received a senatorial inquiry due to power outages. Consumers are suffering numerous losses due to prolonged power outages.
