In Jizzakh, a police officer went missing: a case was opened against him

In Jizzakh region, a police officer went on duty and went missing, and the prosecutor’s office opened a criminal case against him for fraud less than a month later, according to the press secretary of the Prosecutor General’s Office, Hayot Shamsutdinov.

According to the information, Mamayusuf Rahmatullayev went missing on October 27. On Monday morning, the man went off to work and has since disappeared. Later, on November 19, 2025, the Zafarobod district prosecutor’s office initiated a criminal case against the man under Article 168 (Fraud).
