On social media, reports circulated that a school principal in Chirchiq had reprimanded teachers for not attending a meeting on his birthday. The Department of Public Education commented on the incident.
The director of Chirchik’s 12th school communicated with the teachers via video call on Telegram. The video says that on that day, the former head of the school had his birthday, but many teachers did not come to the meeting. It turned out that the incident occurred in the summer.
According to the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education, due to identified violations in the management of the educational institution — in particular, unfair distribution of teaching load and other illegal actions — in September, the employment contract with the director was terminated at his own request, and the incident occurred before his dismissal.
Recall that in Syrdarya, a kindergarten teacher treated a child cruelly. The regional Department of Public Education conducted an inspection and dismissed two employees.
