In Bukhara, five workers lost their lives after falling into a sewage collector
The men were carried away by the strong current, while rescuers have only managed to find three bodies so far.

On 4 September, five workers fell into a sewage collector in the Bukhara region, the press service of the regional Department of Internal Affairs reported.
The incident took place around 12:00 PM. Five employees of “Fayz Binokor Oltiariq” fell into a sewage collector while connecting the pipes of new houses to the central sewage system. The citizens were carried away by the strong current. Rescuers have begun search operations.
In the “Zarmanok” neighbourhood, rescuers found the bodies of three people in the pipes of the sewage distribution point. The search continues. A criminal case has been opened under Article 257, Part 2, Clause “a” (Violation of labour protection regulations resulting in human death). The perpetrators face up to 5 years’ imprisonment. An investigation is ongoing.
Recall that in Namangan, three men lost consciousness inside a tank. The citizens wanted to repair and paint the interior of the container.
