In Angren, an investigator was caught accepting a large bribe — video
The man was detained whilst receiving the money and was arrested.

A senior investigator from the Investigative Department under the Angren Department of Internal Affairs was caught accepting a large bribe, the State Security Service press office reported.
According to the department, the law enforcement officer demanded $10,000 from the citizen for not prosecuting him. A man was caught red-handed receiving $5,000. A criminal case has been initiated under Article 210 (taking a bribe), Part 2, Clause “b”. The investigator has been arrested and is facing a 5-year prison sentence.
As a reminder, the Migration Agency officers were detained for bribery. Law enforcement officers caught them accepting a bribe of $41,000 and found that this was not their first case. The department urged citizens to report any suspicious offers related to employment abroad to the State Security Service’s call centre at the 1520 short number.
