In Andijan region, law enforcement officers detained a district deputy governor who demanded money for land allocation, the Ministry of Internal Affairs press service reports.

The department did not specify which district’s deputy governor was arrested. It is reported that the official proposed to process the documents through his official acquaintances and promised to allocate a plot of land along the main road, where after the 400-meter water canal was converted into a closed system, a 60-sotok plot was formed.
