In Tashkent, employees of a private clinic used force against one of the patients when he tried to escape from it, the press service of the Department of Internal Affairs reports.

According to the information, the clinic specializes in treating drug-dependent citizens. The incident occurred in January 2025. The man, in an aggressive state, tried to escape from there, and the staff tried to detain him. The incident was captured by surveillance cameras, after which the recordings were posted on social media. Law enforcement officers became interested in the incident.

The victim’s mother said that she had been warned in advance about possible difficulties in adaptation, and also said that she had given written permission for the use of physical force in emergency situations. The woman noted that she has no complaints about the clinic and said that currently her son has not been using drugs for several months. Law enforcement officers have launched a pre-trial investigation.

Earlier, it was reported that a woman with a child was held in a barn in Surkhandarya region. The man and his relatives forcibly kept the mother and baby in unsanitary conditions for several months, and a criminal case has been opened.
