Bank employee caught taking a bribe in Surkhandarya
The man promised to help a bank client get a loan for the money.

In Surkhandarya region, law enforcement officers detained a local bank employee while receiving a bribe, the department’s press service reports.
According to the information, for 2 thousand dollars and 1.3 million soums, a management officer of the “Business Development Bank” JSC promised to help a resident of Shurchi district resolve the issue of allocating a loan of 17 billion soums. It was with this request that the victim appealed to the bank branch.
However, the suspect assured the man that the building, which should be provided as collateral for the conclusion of the “Electronic Assessment” system, does not have sufficient value and demanded money to resolve the issue. As a result, law enforcement officers detained him with material evidence.
A criminal case has been initiated against the man under Article 3, Part “v” (Fraud). Currently, investigative actions are underway.
Earlier, it was reported that a city governor’s assistant was caught taking a large bribe in Tashkent region. The man promised the resident a job at the regional ecology department in exchange for money.
