On October 25, an explosion occurred at a gas station in Namangan region, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
The incident occurred in the Birlik neighborhood of Chust district. At 6:47 PM, a report was received by the 112 system regarding an explosion at a gas station. Three fire and rescue units arrived at the scene. At the same time, it is reported that there was no fire.
It is noted that during the movement of a fuel tank with a volume of 10 tons, fire safety regulations were violated, which led to an explosion. As a result, a worker engaged in welding died. The causes of the incident and the amount of damage are being determined.
As a reminder, an explosion and fire occurred at a gas station in Andijan. The cause was a technical failure during the discharge of propane from the fuel tanker.
