A worker from Uzbekistan died at the construction site of the Russian Supreme Court building
The Labor Inspection and the Investigative Committee are investigating the incident.

In St. Petersburg, a 23-year-old Uzbek worker fell from a height of 15 meters at the construction site of the Russian Supreme Court building and died, according to the press service of the Northwest Interregional Labor Inspectorate.
The incident occurred on September 16, when an Uzbek citizen was working on construction sites when he lost his balance and fell. He died from his injuries before medical personnel arrived. The investigation revealed that no official employment contracts had been signed between the deceased and the construction company.
Among the possible reasons are the lack of personal protective equipment, the lack of collective safety equipment, and the unsatisfactory organization of work at a height, — said the Deputy Head of the Inspection Olga Kazanskaya.
Currently, the Labor Inspection and the Investigation Committee are investigating the incident.
As a reminder, a worker died at a construction site in Tashkent due to a crane collapse. The cause was the failure to comply with technical requirements during equipment installation.
