A trial has begun in Angren for the rape of a minor girl
The Children's Ombudsman visited the victim to assess her health condition and plans to take part in the court proceedings.

In Angren, the Children’s Ombudsman visited a minor who became a victim of rape and familiarized herself with the conditions of her detention, as well as the state of her health, the Ombudsman’s press service reports.
The specialist studied the girl’s health condition, talked about her relationship with her parents and family members, and also learned with whom the child would like to stay after completing treatment. It is noted that thanks to the efforts of the doctors, the child’s health has improved, and the girl has been able to gain some weight.
Psychological consultations are also regularly conducted with the victim. Specialists correct post-traumatic mental recovery, ensure a neutral and safe environment, and monitor the improvement of the child’s condition for a rehabilitation course after injury. In addition, the Ombudsman will continue to monitor the provision of food and accommodation for the affected girl.
The department also reported that the investigation of the crime has been completed and the criminal case materials have been sent to court, and the case is currently under trial. It is noted that to ensure the best interests of the child, the Ombudsman will participate in the court proceedings on this case.
It should be noted that the story gained resonance on July 23 after Saodat Abduzakirova revealed the details of the horrific crime allegedly committed by four people against a 15-year-old girl. It was revealed that a criminal case was initiated on May 9, 2025. The National Agency for Social Protection and the Ombudsman took this case under special control.
According to the public figure, the girl was subjected to violence from August to October 2024. After that, the offenders threatened the teenager if she told anyone about it. One of the suspects is a minor, the other may be her relative. In their testimony, the men stated that the victim allegedly agreed to everything herself.
Activist Saodat Abduzakirova reported that the girl was in the hospital’s intensive care unit with a weight of 28 kg and underpants, as she had ruptured abscesses.
Later, the public activist stated that the prosecutor’s office is about to initiate a case against the resuscitator, who was the first to report the teenager’s condition, for spreading personal information, and emphasized that instead of supporting the doctors and helping the child, the attention of law enforcement is focused on “disclosing information”.
The request was heard — according to Saodat Abduzakirova, the case of the rape of a 15-year-old girl in Angren was transferred to the central office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the situation was also investigated by the “Family and Children” law firm headed by the former Ombudsman Aliya Yanusova, lawyers went to Angren to protect the rights of the victim.
