On January 13, a small explosion occurred in the boiler room of the “Muruvvat” men’s boarding house for people with disabilities in the Namangan region, the press service of the National Social Protection Agency reported.

According to the department, the incident occurred in the Pap district. A pressure ejection (weak explosion) occurred in the boiler room due to a technical malfunction. There were no casualties as a result of the incident.

Currently, the National Social Protection Agency’s Department for Namangan Region and relevant organizations are conducting a study and investigation into the incident. Necessary measures are also being taken to restore heat supply to the boarding school. Additional and detailed information will be provided on the situation.
