A large forest fire broke out in the Tashkent region
The fire occurred due to a 69-year-old resident violating safety regulations while welding a drinking water pipe.

A large forest fire broke out in the Tashkent region on September 20, according to the press service of the Bostanlyk district administration.
According to the department, the fire occurred around 1:00 PM in the Burchmulla state forestry area adjacent to Yakkatut village in the Botany district. Forestry officials, over 40 employees, 10 volunteers from the fire brigade, and district police officers arrived at the scene.
The fire was extinguished at 14:40. It is reported that about 1.5 hectares of dried grass were burned as a result. The fire occurred due to a safety violation by a citizen born in 1956, residing in Yakkatut village, while welding a metal pipe for drinking water.
An administrative report was filed against this citizen under Article 84, Part 3 (Violation of fire safety requirements in forests). He faces a fine of 20 BCV (8 million 240 thousand soums).
As a reminder, an explosion and fire occurred at a gas station in Andijan. The cause was a technical failure during the discharge of propane from the fuel tanker.
