A fatal traffic accident occurred in Surkhandarya — video
Two cars at high speed collided head-on on the opposite lane.
On October 20, information spread on social networks about a fatal traffic accident in Surkhandarya region. The regional Department of Road Safety commented on the incident.
It was revealed that on October 19th, around 9:40 a.m., in the Kumkurgan district of Surkhandarya region, on the 7th kilometer of the D-162 (4R-104) highway. A Cobalt car, which crossed into the oncoming lane, collided with a Nexia-2.
As a result of the accident, a passenger of the Nexia-2 died at the scene. Another passenger was taken to the district emergency medical department. A criminal case has been initiated. An investigation has begun.
Recall that in Russia, a bus carrying workers from Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Turkey was involved in a horrific accident. After the collision, the vehicle slid off the road and overturned, injuring dozens of citizens.
