Uzbekistan citizens have started buying more cars — statistics
Sales have increased in all major markets.
In October 2025, car sales in Uzbekistan increased by 11% to 112,500 units, with growth observed in all major markets, according to the CERR.
According to the information, the passenger car segment showed a monthly increase of 12.7% and amounted to 95.4 thousand units. At the same time, the highest dynamics were recorded in Namangan, Jizzakh, and Bukhara regions, where sales increased by more than 20%. At the same time, a slight decrease in activity is observed in the Samarkand region and Karakalpakstan.
According to the results of the month, the number of sales in the passenger car segment increased by 19% or by 6 thousand units. In the category of new passenger cars, the sales volume also increased by 22% compared to September and amounted to 33.4 thousand units. Sales of new foreign brands also increased by 1.1% to 4,500 units.
In the secondary market in October 2025, the sale of cars increased by 9% compared to September and amounted to 57.4 thousand cars. At the same time, the sale of electric vehicles increased by 15% to more than 3,000 units, and compared to the same period in 2024, sales increased by 2.3 times.
Earlier, it was reported that driver’s licenses in Uzbekistan could be restored online. The service will be provided within one day, and if it is delivered, then within three days.
