Residents of Tashkent will be able to use paid parking free of charge

In Tashkent, residents of apartment buildings can now park for free, according to the Poytaxt Parking press service.

Residential agreements are being introduced in paid parking lots. Now for residents of these districts from Monday to Friday from 20:00 to 08:00, on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays, parking will be free. How to formalize the resident agreement, as well as all the details and the official decree, will be published in November.

Based on traffic density, temporary restrictions may be implemented on certain streets. Please observe safety precautions when such restrictions take effect. At the same time, until the resident agreements come into force, we would ask you to adhere only to officially approved information. Once the resident agreements are approved, we will inform you further, — the statement said.

Earlier, it was reported that work is currently underway to integrate with the Single Portal of Interactive Public Services to obtain residency permits electronically. The processes are planned to be completed by November 2025. Later, the city khokim will adopt a document that will clearly define the procedure for issuing a permit, its validity period, the category of citizens eligible for it, and the list of benefits provided.
