In Uzbekistan, it will be possible to buy licence plates with different arrangements of digits and characters

Starting January 1, 2026, Uzbekistan will be able to purchase license plates with letter and number combinations, UzA reports.

Uzavtomotobelgi State Unitary Enterprise will be granted the right to issue such license plates through open electronic auctions.

Numbers can consist of a combination of up to six letters and (or) digits. They should not repeat the current state number and contain meanings that contradict legislation or moral norms.
