In Tashkent, residents of multi-storey buildings will receive concessions for paid parking
Discounts will also be available during the daytime and holidays.
Special benefits will be introduced for residents of apartment buildings on the streets of Tashkent with paid parking facilities, reports the press service of the capital’s khokimiyat.
Residency permits will be introduced for citizens. License holders will be able to use parking spaces within their neighbourhood from evening until morning on preferential terms. During the day, there will also be discounts, and on holidays and weekends, broader benefits will be provided.
Currently, efforts are underway to integrate with the Single Portal of Interactive Public Services to facilitate electronic residency permit applications. The process is expected to be completed by November 2025. Subsequently, the city khokim will issue a document that clearly outlines the procedure for granting permits, their validity period, eligible citizen categories, and the list of benefits offered.
As a reminder, a hotel and parking lot may be constructed on the site of a pharmaceutical institute in Tashkent. Universities are scheduled to be relocated to the Tashkent region.
