In Tashkent, a car dealership defrauded dozens of clients for billions of soums
The manager and staff of “Premier Motors Auto” are suspected of extensive fraud in the buying and selling of cars.
A criminal case has been opened against representatives of the Tashkent car dealership “Premier Motors Auto” LLC for extensive fraud, Kun.uz reports.
According to the investigation, the 32-year-old manager, D.I., acting in conjunction with one of the founders, Sh.R., and several employees, deceived clients approximately 20 times. Promising to help buy or sell cars — from Cobalt to expensive foreign cars — they embezzled billions of soums.
Thus, D.I. promised to buy a Cobalt car from citizen V.A. for 10.2 thousand dollars, but resold the car and took the money. Malibu, Lixiang L9, BMW i3, Gentra, and other cars were sold according to the same scheme.
Presenting himself as the head of the company, D.I. signed fictitious contracts and received tens of thousands of dollars and hundreds of millions of soums from clients without fulfilling his obligations. The examination confirmed that some signatures in the documents were forged by D.I.
He is charged under Articles 168 (fraud involving a substantial amount) and 228 (forgery of documents) of the Criminal Code. The case materials against the founder Sh.R. and several employees have been separated into different proceedings.
