The program of the Finnish President’s visit to Uzbekistan has been announced

Special attention will be paid to a number of issues.

At the invitation of Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of Finland, Alexander Stubb, will pay an official visit to Uzbekistan from October 29 to November 1, the presidential press service reports.

In accordance with the program of the visit, high-level talks will be held in Tashkent, during which topical issues of further expanding Uzbek-Finnish multifaceted cooperation, primarily in the political, trade-economic, investment, and cultural-humanitarian spheres, will be considered.

Special attention will be paid to increasing the volume of mutual trade, establishing cooperation in such areas as agriculture, ecology, chemistry, energy, digitalization, mining, and other innovative industries.

Issues of cooperation in the field of labor migration, culture, and the introduction of advanced technologies in the education system will be considered. There will also be an exchange of views on the current international agenda, including mutual support on multilateral platforms.
